From the moment a young man or woman first dreams of becoming a knight, their thoughts invariably drift to that of swords and armor.  It is the fantasy of knights both old and young, to don a suit of armor and proceed into battle.  At Summer Knights, young people can make that dream a reality!   Armed with padded practice swords and protected by steel helms, hardened-leather armour and LOTS of padding, knights can experience the thrill of single-combat without the threat of injury!   At the end of each session knights can enter a tournament, where they are paired with other knights of their size, strength and ability, and compete for the title of Champion of the Lyst!  Whether knights are participating in the combat exercises, marshalling the tournament or just practicing at the pell (a practice target) they always enjoy learning the ways of the medieval swordsman!
